“A Star for Europe” by the artist Leonel Moura, in partnership with Movecho, was in exhibition at Alfandega do Porto. With 2 meters of height and a weight of 100 kg, “A Star for Europe” was produced by Movecho using 3D printing on a special biodegradable PLA compound.

The piece of art is based on the stars included on the flag of the European Union and was produced within the framework of the “Cimeira Social da Presidência Portuguesa”. The Star for Europe, produced at Movecho, results from a response to the challenge launched by the artist, exalting: additive manufacturing, sustainable construction and cooperation between art and industry.
