The D16 table sprouts from a process of reflection as to the new ways of thinking of furniture. How can one conceive an object that could be understood intuitively? How can one allow the user to discover the object’s functionality and possibilities?

The goal was to develop a flexible piece that could be used in a variety of situations and that allowed exploring different compositions. D16’s design makes this possible. The table incorporates a drawer whose rotation, obtained through a bearings system, enables creating different variations. Its simple and intuitive design makes it user-friendly and possible to freely interpret.
